Arbitration is the preferred route for resolving commercial disputes in the UAE outside the court system, and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) is the emirate's principal arbitration institution. DIAC operates under its 2022 Arbitration Rules, which apply to arbitrations commenced from March 2022 onward and are administered by the DIAC Arbitration Court. Unless the parties agree otherwise, the default seat of a DIAC arbitration is the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and the rules allow electronic filing, virtual hearings, and expedited procedures - including a fast-track process that can produce a final award within three months.يُعد التحكيم الطريق المفضل لحل النزاعات التجارية في الإمارات خارج نظام المحاكم، ويُعتبر مركز دبي للتحكيم الدولي (DIAC) المؤسسة الرئيسية للتحكيم في الإمارة. يعمل المركز وفق قواعد التحكيم لعام 2022 التي تُطبّق على إجراءات التحكيم التي بدأت من مارس 2022 فصاعداً، وتُدار عبر محكمة تحكيم DIAC. ما لم يتفق الأطراف على خلاف ذلك، يكون المقر الافتراضي لتحكيم DIAC هو مركز دبي المالي العالمي (DIFC)، وتسمح القواعد بالتقديم الإلكتروني والجلسات الافتراضية والإجراءات المُعجّلة - بما في ذلك مسار سريع يمكن أن يُصدر حكماً نهائياً خلال ثلاثة أشهر.
